Making decisions about managing depression
Depression affects different people in different ways. Thinking about the different options can help you choose what's best for you at the moment.
There may be different people involved in your care, such as members of your GP team, and other professionals such as counsellors and psychologists. In this document, we’ll call them your health and care team.
You can access help through your GP team, or refer yourself directly to an NHS talking therapies service. However you choose to access help, the people in your health and care team will be there to help you decide what options you want to try.
Visit the NHS website for information on how to cope with depression.
